HOW XPY WORKS
One person who understands the whole picture.
A website affects the content. The content affects the brand. The brand affects how the business is perceived. Search, social and everything around them works better when those decisions aren’t being made in isolation.
That’s why I prefer getting close enough to understand the business rather than simply completing a brief and disappearing.
Most of the work stays directly with me. When a project needs expertise outside my own skillset, I bring in people I trust, while remaining your point of contact throughout.

WHY INDEPENDENT
I don’t want 50 clients.
XPY isn’t built around taking on as much work as possible. I deliberately keep the client list relatively small so I can understand the businesses I work with and stay involved in the work.
That might mean spotting something while I’m building a website, developing an idea for content while I’m filming, or recognising that the business doesn’t need another marketing service at all.
You’re dealing with the person thinking about the project, making the work and ultimately responsible for the result.
A BIT ABOUT ME
Creative work has always overlapped.
My background has never fitted particularly neatly into one box. I’ve worked in web design, filmmaking, photography, music and content creation — often with one discipline feeding directly into another.
I’m based in Cornwall and have spent most of my life around the coast, surfing, making things and working with businesses here and further afield. That slightly independent, hands-on way of doing things has ended up shaping XPY too.
I like good ideas, straightforward communication and work that actually has a purpose. I don’t think businesses need more noise. They need the right things, done properly and joined together.
